1.Set Up Google My Business<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is the first step to have your business listed on all searches and services on Google. Open your first Google My Business account if you had not done so earlier and put in your business information such as name, address, telephone number and images.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once you opened the account, go to \u2018Info\u2019<\/strong> tab and fill your business information including your operating time and website. Then, if you have not done so, go to \u2018Add new location\u2019<\/strong> to create a new one. This will be the one that shows up on Maps. For businesses that have location already, go to \u2018Manage locations\u2019<\/strong> and make sure your location is \u2018Published\u2019 if not, this means you cannot find your business on Maps and search and you need to verify the business or publish it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

After you open your first account, make sure you \u2018verify\u2019<\/strong> it. This is extremely important. Otherwise your business will not appear on Google Maps or search. We recommend that you verify your business by call, which is the easiest method. If not, postcard is the second easiest option, but the postcard could take 1-2 weeks to arrive. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

2.Make sure NAP (Name, Address, Phone number) is the same across the internet<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We understand you might have a slightly different street address in different listing websites, or someone forgot to update that old website with the new phone number.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
